Duke Fishron is a Hard Mode Boss. In order to summon him, the player must fish at an Ocean using the Truffle Worm. It can be summoned directly after activating Hard Mode but is recommended to have at least post-Plantera gear equipped.
Attacks: (First Stage)
- Charges at the player (5 times in a row)
- Detonating Bubble Spray (The bubbles are poppable)
- Summons 2 aqua rings, and when the ring touches the ground, transforms into a Sharknado.
- A Sharknado is a huge tornado that throws a lot of Sharkrons at any direction.
Second Stage: (Darker and eyes glow yellow)
- Charges at player (3 times in a row)
- Spins quickly and releases Sharknados and homing bubbles
- Shoots 1 homing aqua ring. If this ring hits a player, then a larger sharknado (Named Cthulhunado.) will spawn beneath them, spawning more Sharkrons than a stage one sharknado.

- The name and appearance of Duke Fishron seems to be heavily based on the Pigron enemy.
- This is the 1st ocean boss in Terraria.
- The "Sharknados" are a reference to the movie Sharknado.
- Unlike other bosses, Duke Fishron only drops 1
after being killed.
