The Stynger is a hardmode ranged weapon which is dropped by the Golem . It can autofire Stynger Bolts which are also dropped by Golem along with the weapon, though they can be purchased by the Arms Dealer when the player has the gun in his\her inventory.

- The Stynger counts as a rocket type weapon which makes it a good combination with Shroomite armour.
- The explosive bolts do not harm the player, so it can be fired from any distance.
- The Stynger may be in reference to the RYNO V from Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time.
