The Umbrella is an item that can be found in Chests. This item has a similar effect to a Featherfall Potion when held – slower falling speed (which cannot be altered by holding directional buttons) and negation of fall damage.

- The Umbrella Slime holds an Umbrella, but does not drop one. Instead it drops an Umbrella Hat. Also, the umbrella has a different look.
- The Umbrella and its behavior may be a reference to the movieMary Poppins, as Mary Poppins floats down gently from the sky using an umbrella.
